When to choose MariaDB
If your application stack, ORM migrations, or operational playbooks already target MariaDB/MySQL, running it as a managed service removes toil while keeping familiar tools (clients, backup assumptions, replication patterns you already trust).
Connect safely
For local development, prefer **Hubseat Desktop** to open a tunneled TCP listener to the service container — authenticated through your Hubseat identity — instead of exposing databases on public interfaces.
